Outreach Events : National Space Day
Focus on Government School Students Recognising the importance of inclusive education, IPRC’s outreach events specifically target and cover Government school students. By bringing advanced space science to these institutions, IPRC ensures that students from diverse backgrounds have the opportunity to participate in STEM activities and learning.
• Regional Science Meets: Scientists conduct intensive programmes in regional hubs, such as Tirunelveli and Trichy, to reach students across multiple districts.
• Competitive Learning: Quiz competitions for Government school students (Classes 8–11) challenge their knowledge of astronomy, mission history, and satellite technology.
• Scientist-Student Interaction Panels: These sessions allow a panel of experts to share their personal research journeys and project insights, offering students a rare opportunity to ask questions and engage with the minds behind India's propulsion systems.
